What's new in FlutterFlow
This release brings two big upgrades to how you build with AI. GenUI introduces a new kind of app experience, instead of hard-coding every screen and flow, you define components and action blocks, and an AI agent composes them into real, interactive UI in response to what users actually ask for. And our AI Page and Component Generators now run on the same engine that powers FlutterFlow Designer, delivering noticeably higher-quality output, faster generation, and much better fidelity to your prompts.
Introducing GenUI: Agent-Driven Experiences in Your FlutterFlow apps.

Traditional apps lock users into the flows you predict in advance, with screens, navigation, and interactions all hard-coded ahead of time. GenUI flips that model. Instead of designing every path, you define the building blocks (components, action blocks, and app events) and an AI agent composes them into real, interactive experiences on demand. Ask "show my recent orders" and the agent renders your order cards. Ask "where's my latest one?" and it switches to a live map. This isn't a chatbot wrapper: the AI is assembling your actual FlutterFlow UI in response to user intent.
GenUI is built on A2UI, Google's open protocol for agent-driven interfaces, and runs on Firebase AI Logic (Gemini). Drop the GenUI Chat widget onto any page, point it at the components and action blocks you want the agent to use, write a system prompt that describes its role, and you've got an adaptive surface that handles the long tail of use cases traditional UIs can't cover, including customer support, personal shopping, dynamic dashboards, and beyond. Your existing components and action blocks become the agent's vocabulary; the better you describe them, the smarter it gets.
AI Page and Component Generator, Upgraded

The AI Page Generator and Component Generator now run on the same engine that powers FlutterFlow Designer. That means higher-quality output, faster generation, and noticeably better fidelity to your prompts. The layouts, components, and structure you describe come back closer to what you actually had in mind, on the first try. Same workflow inside FlutterFlow, dramatically better results.
Improvements
- Project owners can now rename branches.
- FlutterFlow MCP - FlutterFlow API key now persists across
flutterflow ai initruns so you don’t have to keep entering your api key. - FlutterFlow MCP -
flutterflow ai initnow register’s the MCP with Antigravity.
